Join us at Pudding Creek Beach in Fort Bragg for our 2nd Annual Hands Across The Sand event. We'll gather by 11:45am, join hands at noon, and take a moment together pledging our opposition to new offshore oil and gas drilling in the Pacific Ocean. The current administration is moving forward with plans to increase oil and gas drilling in the Federal waters of the Pacific Ocean. We must stand together and show strong opposition!
Over 90 cities on the West Coast (Fort Bragg included!) have passed resolutions to oppose the Presidential Executive order to expand offshore drilling, and an Alliance of over 2,800 businesses have come together in opposition.
Our human chain creates a powerful image to send to our elected officials. Please walk, bike, or carpool to the event! Please spread the word and meet us before noon to join hands! We'll follow up with a beach clean-up.
